Image Not Showing Up In WordPress

Recently I added an image to one of my blog entries.  If you’re not familiar with the process, all one needs to do is click on add an image (it’s an icon next to upload/insert in add new post) and browse.  Anyway, once uploaded and published, the image should show up in your posting.  If it doesn’t, go the directory (folder) where the image is stored, I use an FTP program, Filezilla, and check for file permissions.  Make sure the permissions are set to 644 (the last 4 in 644 is the important bit as it stands for ‘read’ allowing permission for a browser to read (see) a file.  That should fix the problem.  Refresh your browser and the pic should show.
